6. WhatsApp Groups and Communications

IPI may provide links to WhatsApp information groups and official student groups.

When you join a WhatsApp group:

  • Your telephone number, profile name and profile image may be visible to other group members.

  • Your messages and interactions may be visible to group administrators and participants.

  • WhatsApp independently processes information according to its own privacy policy.

  • IPI does not control WhatsApp’s systems or privacy practices.

Joining an information group does not automatically constitute paid enrolment in a course.

You should avoid sharing confidential, financial or sensitive personal information inside a group.

7. Google Analytics and Cookies

IPI uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its performance and content.

Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage and device information. Google may process this information on servers located outside Sri Lanka.
