What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka has two monsoon seasons, making it a year-round destination. The west and south coasts are best from December to March, while the east coast shines from April to September. The hill country is pleasant year-round, though cooler from December to February.
Do I need a visa to visit Sri Lanka?
Most visitors require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) which can be obtained online before arrival. The ETA is valid for 30 days and costs approximately $50. Some nationalities are eligible for visa-free entry. Check with your local Sri Lankan embassy for specific requirements.
